Reasons for Trip Reports

The purpose of the trip reports listed here is just to show people some of what I am into.  If you are planning to take a mountaineering trip, you might find some useful information here.  Maps, GPS coordinates, trip notes and pictures are given for each trip.

DATA DISCLAIMER

Waypoint elevations and coordinates may not be exact.  This is information I gathered myself during the trips.  The coordinates are generally accurate to within 30 feet depending on GPS accuracy at the time and location.  The elevations listed here are only approximate.  I generally use the elevation the GPS had when the way point was created.  GPS elevation data is not perfect.  If no elevation data was available or the number appears to be way off, I look at it on maps on the computer and make an educated guess.  So keep in mind the coordinates may not be exact but will be very close.  The elevations however are only approximate.
