Personal Introduction Pictures 2000 through 2002

2000 - Jenna and I took a trip to Death Valley. In this photo were were at Scotty's Castle.

2000 - I took Jenna and her mom on a hike in the Calico Basin area
of Red Rock.

2000 - I had a nipple ring for a few years, until it was ripped out.
I was getting out of Jenna's truck when we went to visit her dad.
There were rocks next to the driveway and I was barefoot.
Since I did not want to walk on the rocks I shimmied by the truck
and in the process got my nipple ring caught on the side mirror.
As I went by it got ripped out. I started jumping around from
the pain and Jenna asked if I was ok. I held my chest and
shook my head no (for some reason I was speechless). She was
laughing until I removed my hand from my chest and blood poured down
my shirt. When we decided to go to the doctor, I told her to
get the camera because you don't get to see this everyday. So
there you have it a picture of my nipple ripped in half. I
ended up with 20 small stitches across one little nipple. The
first doctor told us she couldn't do it, so she went to get another
doctor to do it for her.

2000 - Me and my nephew Robert on the bumper cars at a fair.

2000 - Tucker was pointing out part of the menu at Subway when he
was out for a visit.

2000 - I decided the ground lights at the Mirage looked more like
the hats used by Chinese in the rice fields. Of course I had
to demonstrate.

2000 - Window and I at Red Rock.

2000 - Here I am playing with Window at Lake Mead.

2001 - Here I am on a back pack trip with friends on the Griffith
Peak trail at Charleston.

2001 - I decided to try out the bald look for a while. I kept
it that way for a few months and then grew my hair back.
2001 - Ed and I were on a back pack trip at Charleston and he
brought his ropes along. He gave me my first introduction to
climbing. I was using his harness but was wearing my hiking
shoes. I had no clue what I was doing but it was fun.

2002 - I took some people from the HR department at work to the
Arizona side Hot Springs by the dam. They had never been so it
was a unique experience for them.

2002 - Picture proof that I have done it. I took Sam (a
co-worker) hiking to Big Falls at Charleston. While out there
we both had to pee so we took turns writing our names. And
yes, I did feel the need to take a picture of it.

2002 - Window and I on top of Frenchman's Mountain, commonly called
Sunrise Mountain by Las Vegas residents.
2002 - This is one of my favorite spots to chill out. You can
see a long way in both directions up and down the Colorado River.
This point is also close to the White Rock Canyon Hot Springs (the
hot springs on the Arizona side of the dam. Some times I hike
in from the road and sometimes I kayak up from Willow Beach (7 miles
down stream). When the weather is nice it is very relaxing to
sit here and enjoy the views!!!

2002 - Michael and I did a lot of kayaking this summer. we
were out 3 out of 4 weekends per month for about 6 months straight.
We were out with some other friends showing them around the Nelson's
Landing area for a 3 day trip.

2002 - I took Anna and her daughter Kayla on a hike to Cathedral
Rock.

2002 - While Michael and I were kayaking we went to explore a side
canyon on foot. While we were in there we found some animal
bones. I decided to get flexible and pretend I was twisted and
dead laying next to them.

2002 - Here I am in my shortie wet suit on another kayak trip.
I like to stay warm and hate cold water. I don't loose the wet
suit until it gets HOT out.

2002 - Here I am riding horses with my sister. Wow are those
things intimidating!!!!!

2002 - Here I am with Michael (my nephew) at my mom's house on July
4th.

2002 - Kevin and Ed picked me up at the Reno airport. We all
brought radios so we could talk to each other and figure out where
the others were. It's a pretty fun way to communicate when you
are looking for a friend in the airport.

2002 - On a trip to visit friends in Tahoe we took a pack trip up
Horse Tail Falls and went to check out Lake Aloha while there.
The hike up Horse Tail Falls was long and steep but worth it.
When we got to the top we were rewarded with easy travel and lake
after lake along the way!

2002 - Same trip up Horse Tail Falls. Here we are looking over
one of the lakes while next to yet another water fall.

2002 - Same trip. Ed and I were eating breakfast looking over
Lake Aloha.

2002 - Ed, Me and Kevin on the dinner cruise on Lake Tahoe.
A toast to
friendship.

2002 - While in Tahoe we played a couple rounds of disc golf at one
of the local parks. Kevin and Ed also took me to play at a
locals course called Keller. The baskets consisted of painted
marks on trees or rocks. It was so heavily wooded it was hard
to get a good throw in. The park in this picture though had
lots of nice wide open spaces.

2002 - Here I am standing on a tree in the Keller Disc Golf Course.

2002 - Here I am hanging out with Kevin and Ed's Iguana.

2002 - I joined Tobi and her family to Ensenada Mexico. Here I
am holding an Iguana.

2002 - I just liked this picture Tobi took of me while we were
hanging out drinking a beer in Ensenada.

2002 - Jason and I kayaking. I had taken Jason and Tracy on a
kayak trip to see how they liked it. The good news is, they
liked it!!

2002 - My one and only disc golf "Hole in One" (Ace). It was
about 200 feet and around a blind corner. After walking over
to look at the basket I went back to the tee pad to take my shot.
I had to throw around a bunch of trees that were blocking my shot
and my view. I heard the chains of the basket jingle and
thought I had gotten damn close to nick the chains like that.
Other people in the tournament that were by the basket started
cheering and went over to look at my hole in one. It was a
good day. Tradition during a tournament is if you get a hole
in one every player gives you a dollar. I also had a bet with
the players in my group for 5 dollars each to the person with the
lowest score. I won that bet as well. So I came home
with some cash that day.

2002 - Jason, Window and I were on the search for the Pandora's Box
GeoCache. Along the way we were one of the caves in the Red
Rock Canyon area.

2002 - For Halloween our shop made a pumpkin for the competition.
I thing we had a bit of collective creativity here.

2002 TREK 07 - Here I am on a stump while John and I were looking
for the City of St Thomas. St Thomas is a city that was
covered by water when the Hoover Dam was built. Since the
level of Lake Mead is so low due to a drought things are being
exposed that haven't been seen in many years, St Thomas being one of
them.

2002, TREK 09 - Another time I took Anna and Kayla out to see the
City of St Thomas. Here I am on the roof of one of the
buildings.

2002, TREK 08 - One of my favorite places for a few years was
the Gold Strike Hot Springs on the Nevada Side of the dam.
This was on one of my back pack trips down there. Here I am
cooking myself some breakfast while wading in waist deep water that
is about 100 degrees. That feels very good on a a cool
morning. While it is cooking it is nice to get something to
drink and lay back on the rock behind me and saok.

2002, TREK 10 - This is another trip to the Gold Strike Hot Springs.
We spent 4 days there. On the second day I hiked out with
Window and drove her home then drove back to hike in again.
She enjoyed the first day there but then just seemed miserable being
wet all the time. She would get cold from being wet then go
stand in the warm water. when she got out she was cold again
so it was an endless cycle for her. She was happy when I got
her home. This [picture is of the largest pool there.
There are a few other pools there, two of them have caves to swim
under water into. One sports a water fall that rubs your back
and neck when you sit under it.

2002, TREK 11 - Sometimes I would take a long pool hose with me to
the hot springs. I would throw it over the edge of the dam and
get a siphon started, then dive under water and use the suction to
siphon rocks and sand off the bottom.

2002, TREK 16 - Michael Window and I hiked to the top of Turtle Head
Peak at Red Rock. This is a picture of Window and me on the
peak.
