Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Nevada - Arizona.
Gold Strike Canyon Hot Springs.
Date - 11/13/02.
Distance - 9.8 miles.
Time - 4 days.
This area was one of my favorite places to go for a few
years. This was a relaxed 4 day pack trip for a quasi
reunion of friends. I still make frequent hikes there
to soak in the water. Sometimes only for a few hours
and sometimes I sleep in the water all night and hike out to
go to work.

If you like water falls and hiking by lake after lake, you
need to check this area out!!

Charleston Peak (via the South Loop Trail) - Mount Charleston Wilderness, Nevada.

Time - 2 days.
Window (my dog) and I went to Charleston Peak at 12,000 feet
to camp over night. I am not sure even Window could
forget this one.
